Common questions
Money, Quotes and Offers
Straight answers on pricing, quotes, and what's actually on offer.
Why isn't the lowest price your main focus?
Because the lowest quote on paper often isn't the lowest cost overall once problems get patched instead of properly fixed. What matters more to us is a price that's honest and workmanship guaranteed for good, so the same fault doesn't cost you twice.
What does the $65 off your first service cover?
It's a discount off your first booking with us, regardless of which service you need. Just flag it during the call, and it comes off the invoice once the price is settled.
What payment options do you offer?
We run through the available options when we quote the job, so you know exactly what's on offer before agreeing to anything. Payment happens once the number's set and the work's done.
Do you charge a call-out fee?
No, there's nothing to pay just for a plumber to attend and take a look. The only charge is the agreed price for the actual repair.
Common questions
The Legal Stuff, Made Simple
Licensing, insurance and how responsibility works in plain terms.
Can you check my licence number?
Yes, we hold NSW Plumbing Licence #465156C, and it's verifiable through the NSW licensing register. Ask on the day and we'll gladly point you to it.
What is your lifetime labour warranty?
It's an open-ended promise on our workmanship, tied to the property rather than a set number of years. Should our own workmanship ever be the cause of a repeat problem, correcting it costs you nothing, and there's no expiry date on that promise.
Can I fix a plumbing emergency myself?
Shutting the water off at the meter, or closing an isolation valve under a fixture, is fine provided it's safe to get to. Beyond that, plumbing and gas work legally needs a licensed tradesperson, and honestly it's safer that way too.
Are your plumbers qualified to work on gas?
Yes, our team includes licensed gas fitters alongside licensed plumbers. Gas work is treated with the seriousness it deserves, always safety-first.
Common questions
When We Can Come
What our availability actually looks like, day to day.
How fast can you get here?
Ringing gets you a person, not a queue, and we push to have someone out the same day whenever that's realistic. How quickly depends on what's happening and where you are, but speed is built into how we operate.
Are you really available 24/7?
Yes, genuinely, including weekends, public holidays and the middle of the night. A real person answers every call, not an automated system or a machine.
What counts as a plumbing emergency?
Burst or badly leaking pipes, no hot water, blocked drains backing up, and suspected gas leaks are the clearest examples. If in doubt, call anyway. We'd rather talk it through than have you guess wrong.
What happens after I call?
Whoever answers notes down the problem, then arranges for a plumber to come and look at it directly. You get a fixed quote before anything starts, and the job's completed once you approve it.
Common questions
Local Answers for Auburn
A few questions that come up specifically because of where you live.
Do you handle strata and units in Auburn?
Yes, apartment blocks and strata complexes make up a fair share of our workload here, not just detached houses. Coordinating with a building manager on shared systems is a normal part of how we operate.
What suburbs do you service around Auburn?
Our core coverage includes Lidcombe, Berala, Granville, South Granville and Newington alongside Auburn itself, all part of the same Cumberland-area run.
How local are you, really?
Auburn and its surrounding suburbs are where we work day in and day out, not an occasional add-on to a wider territory. That's the reason a job in a decades-old cottage or a brand-new apartment block both feel routine to us.
Do you take on local new builds and renovation work?
Yes, alongside emergency callouts we handle plumbing on renovations and newer builds, including the apartment developments that have grown up around Auburn's town centre in recent years.
